This year marks the 44th time that the Hungarian Design Award is presented. The award is one of Hungary's most prestigious recognitions in the field of design.

Special Award was earned by the Nook by Rati, created by Ferenc Laufer and András Húnfalvi, founders of the Flying Objects design studio. A big thank you to them!

In 2018 Rati has further improved its CSR management system, resulting in entering the top third of the audited companies.

The objective of the EcoVadis Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) rating methodology is to assess the quality of a company’s CSR management system – through its policies, implementation measures and results. The assessment focuses on 21 issues which are grouped into 4 themes (Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, Sustainable Procurement).

Congratulation to PSA for winning the International Van of the Year Award!

With the the launch of a new generation of the highly-successful Peugeot Partner, Citroën Berlingo and Opel Combo vans PSA has underlined its clear intention to further strengthen its market share lead in the European compact van market. The new vans are the results of a joint collaboration between the three brands, boasting incredible levels of equipment and comfort features.

Rati armrests fulfil not only the strongest automotive test requirements, but the strongest legal regulations as well. Tüv Süd has tested Rati Armrest OE1 according ECE R17 and ECE R21. We are proud to announce that based on our test results, KBA Germany has issued the National Type Approval (KBA).

For the Factory of the Year Award all Hungarian producing company could apply.

From the participants the jury unanimously chose RATI for the most innovative factory.

They emphasized the unique, irrespective product development process, where the starting point is always a real, existing consumer problem and the results are tested off-the-shelf solutions that can be immediately included in OEMs product portfolio.

You probably know us from our unique optional armrests and coat hanger, but for 2018 Rati is back with a brand new off-the-shelf solution for car manufacturers’ accessory range.

Rati basket is designed for shopping and other outdoor activities, its volume is equivalent to the other fold-out trays currently on the market. Its main features are easier handling, perfect fixing in the trunk on different surfaces, ergonomic one-hand use and trendy look.

We are going to introduce our future development plans as well, such as a concepts of a smart solution for tablet/mobile phone holding and eating in the car.
